CAN YOU MAKE IT INTO THE BOOK OF KID RECORDS?!?

 

The Payson Public Library is creating our own version of the Guinness Book of World Records for kids. It promises to be a silly, good time!

 

INDIVIDUAL CATEGORIES:

  • Biggest bubble gum bubble

  • Most balloons blown & tied in 30 sec.

  • Fastest sandwich made using feet (world record is 1min 57sec)

  • Longest time with spoon balanced on nose

  • Tallest Kid (world record is 8ft 11inches)

  • Shortest Kid

  • Most sit-ups in one minute

  • Most push ups in one minute

  • Most marshmallows in mouth at one time

  • Longest hair on a Girl/Boy (world record is 18ft 5.54inches)

  • Fastest time running with book balanced on head

  • Most consecutive jumps with a jump rope

  • Most random objects memorized after one reading (world record is 200)

 GROUP CATEGORIES:

  • Most kids on one chair

  • Most children in one family (world record is 67 siblings)

  • Most balloons kept in air by one group

  • Most kids with the same first name at event

You can be a part of the zaniness or simply enjoy watching the fun.  Categories will take place back to back so be sure to arrive on time or you might miss competing in a category!

 

A pictured scrapbook of the event will be displayed in the children’s room by August.
